3. Minimum Educational Qualifications and Post Qualification:

Post Code No.01: Probationary Officers ( JMGS - I ):

Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with atleast 60% marks in aggregate (First class) and computer science covering M S Word, M S Office, Excel, Access, etc., as one of the subjects at the degree/PG level OR MCA with atleast 60% Marks in aggregate(First class) OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) with a minimum of 60% marks in the aggregate (First Class) with Computer knowledge OR Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with atleast 60% marks in aggregate (First class) and any one of the following computer qualifications:

i. Diploma in Computer Operations from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, MICE, STQC,CMC

ii. GNIIT from NIIT

iii. DOE ACC Courses/Certification (O,A,B,C Level)

In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH, minimum qualifying marks will be 55% in aggregate, other conditions remaining the same.

Post Code No. 02 : Probationary Officers – Rural Development(JMGS–I):

a) Candidates should be a Post Graduate in Agriculture/Veterinary Science/Agricultural Engineering/ Agri Marketing/Horticulture.

b) Candidate should have a good academic background and should have Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of atleast 3.00 out of 4 or equivalent, if CGPA is 5 or more.

c) Candidates should know to read, write and speak the language of the state in which they are seeking appointment and should be ready to stay and serve in rural areas in any part of the country.

Post Code No. 03: Security Officers (JMGS - I):

A degree in any discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

Experience: 5 years commissioned service in the Army, Navy, Air Force or a Police Officer not below the rank of ASP/DSP with 5 years service or Officers of identical rank in para military forces with 5 years of completed service.

Post Code No.04: Technical Officers (JMGS - I):

Qualification & Experience: First Class Degree (Minimum 60% marks in aggregate) in Civil/Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in construction Firms/ Companies and should have handled Project execution.

Post Code No.05: Information Technology Officers (MMGS - III):

Qualification & Experience: BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Computer/Information Science/ Telecommunication or M.SC in Computers or MCA or MBA (Systems) with a minimum of 5 years experience in the related field in a Scheduled Commercial Bank/Financial Institution or Public/Private Sector Enterprise. Candidates should have Expertise in Unix/Windows/Oracle. Candidates with specialization/certification in Oracle DBA/ CISA/CISSP/CISM/CCNA/CCNP/C/C ++/VB are preferred.

Post Code No.06: Information Technology Officers (MMGS - II):

Qualification & Experience: BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Computer/Information Science/ Telecommunications or M.SC in Computers or MCA or MBA (Systems) with a minimum of 3 years experience in the related field in a Scheduled Commercial Bank/Financial Institution or Public/Private Sector Enterprise. Candidates should have Expertise in Unix/Windows/Oracle. Candidates with specialisation/certification in Oracle DBA/ CISA/CISSP/CISM/CCNA/CCNP/C/C ++/VB are preferred.

Post Code No.07: Probationary Clerks:

A Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with atleast 60% marks in aggregate (First Class) and any one of the following computer qualifications:

i. Proficiency in Windows/MS Office
ii. Certificate/Diploma in Computer Operations from NIIT, SSI, Aptech, STQC OR

BCA with atleast 60% Marks in aggregate (First Class) OR

Degree in any discipline from a recognised University with atleast 60% marks in aggregate (First Class) and computer science covering M S Word, M S Office, Excel, Access, etc., as one of the subjects.

In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH, minimum qualifying marks will be 55% in aggregate, other conditions remaining the same.

The educational qualifications prescribed for all the posts is the minimum. Candidates must possess the educational qualifications as on 01.01.2008 (inclusive) and must attach to the application proof thereof for having acquired the qualifications on or before 01.01.2008.
