1. Administrative Officer ( UR )
- Essential :
Good academic record plus Masters degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale ( 5% relaxation in marks for SC / ST category ). - Desirable :
- At least three years experience in supervisory or equivalent cadre in a Group B post in a Government Department / University / Educational or Research Institution / Teaching and / or Research experience along with proven administrative capabilities.
- LL.B or MBA or CA / ICWA or MCA or M.Phil / Ph.D qualification.
- Note :
- The incumbent should possess good communication and analytical skills and aptitude for drafting / noting in English. Should be able to coordinate / liaise with other divisions / departments and participate in discussions with senior functionaries and Academicians.
- He is expected to handle independently one or more functions related to Educational Administration / Examination / General Administration / Purchase / Establishment /Accounts & Finance / Project Management / HR / Legal.
- All the candidates for direct recruitment will be required to appear in a written test to adjudge their ability of expression and knowledge of the administrative aspects relating to educational administration; the selection being based on the performance of the candidates in written test and interview.
- The scheme of the examination including weightage of marks for written test and interview etc., as prescribed by the University from time to time with the approval of the Executive Council in this regard.
- All the direct recruits should possess working knowledge of computers.
2. Section Officer ( UR )
- Essential :
- Graduate / Post Graduate with at least second division ( 50% marks )
- At least three years post qualification experience in handling Educational Administration / General Administration / Purchase / Accounts & Finance in a University / Research Institution / Government Department / bodies / PSUs or reputed commercial establishment.
- Desirable :
Preference will be given to candidates holding professional qualifications like LL.B or PG Diploma in Business Administration or MCA / PGDCA or CA ( Inter ) / ICWA ( Inter ). - Note :
- The incumbent should possess an aptitude for drafting / noting in English, adequate exposure in handling one or more functions related to General Administration / House Keeping / Purchase / Service matters / Office management / Establishment / Accounts & Finance / HR / Legal in a computerized environment.
- All the candidates for direct recruitment will be required to appear in a written test to adjudge their ability of expression and knowledge relating to their work. The selection being based on the performance of the candidates in written test and interview.
- The scheme of the examination including weightage of marks for written test and interview etc., as prescribed by the University from time to time with the approval of the Executive Council in this regard.
- All direct recruits are expected to work in a computerized environment and required to qualify a skill test in handling computers within one year from their appointment before completion of probation period.
3. Assistant ( reserved for SC )
- Essential :
A Graduate from a recognized University in any discipline with working knowledge of computers. - Desirable :
- One year experience in Educational Administration, General Admn. and Finance, Purchase etc. in Government department / bodies / Corporation or reputed Educational Institutions.
- Degree / Diploma in Computer Application/Science and knowledge of operation of latest packages relating to Payroll, Accounts, MIS etc.
- Note :
- The incumbent is generally expected to work under the supervision of Administrative Officer / Section Officer. He / she should possess an aptitude for drafting / noting in English and office procedure in a computerized environment and is expected to provide support services in one or more functions related to Educational Administration / Examinations / General Administration / House Keeping / Establishment / HR / Legal / Purchase / Accounts & Finance / Project Management / Public Relations.
- All the candidates for direct recruitment will be required to appear in a written test to adjudge their ability of expression and knowledge relating to their work. The selection being based on the performance of the candidates in written test and interview.
- The scheme of the examination including weightage of marks for written test and interview etc., as prescribed by the University from time to time with the approval of the Executive Council in this regard.
- All direct recruits should qualify a typing test in computer within one year from their appointment and before completion of their probation period.
4. Junior Assistant ( reserved for SC )
- Essential :
- A Senior Secondary School Certificate ( + 2 ) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board / University / Institution with at least 50% marks or a Graduate from a recognized University.
- Having a typing speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi typewriting through computers.
- Desirable :
- Degree / Diploma in Computer Application / Science and knowledge of operation of latest packages relating to Pay roll, Accounts, MIS etc.
- Diploma in Office Management and Secretarial Practice. Applicants for the post of Junior Assistant will be required to appear in a written test to adjudge their ability of expression and knowledge relating to their work. 5. Security Guard ( reserved for OBC – XSM )
- Essential :
- Middle Standard Pass from a recognized school or an equivalent examination from Armed Forces.
- At least 10 years experience in Armed Forces, preferably from Artillery or other Fighting cores with sound health and very good past records.
- Desirable :
Working knowledge of Hindi and English Selection for the post of Security Guard will be made after an endurance test followed by interview. Only Ex – servicemen ( OBC category ) from the Armed Forces of the Union or Central Para – Military Force ( viz. Army, Navy, Air Force, BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP etc. ) can apply for the post.
6. Library Attendant ( UR )
- Essential :
Passed 10th or equivalent examination from any State Education Board or Govt. recognized Institution. - Desirable :
- Certificate in Library Science / Library & Information Science.
- Computer as a subject at secondary level or Basic Course in Computers from any Institution. For further detail, refer to the college website.
General Conditions for RLAE Recruitment 2012 :
- Prescribed RLAE New Delhi application Form can be downloaded from the College website or can be had from the college office between 2.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. on all working days.
- Upper age limit will be calculated on the closing date of RLAE New Delhi applications. Relaxation in age limit for reserved categories viz SC / ST / OBC / PwD / XSM and other specified categories of persons as per the Government guidelines and University Rules.
- Upper age limit prescribed for direct recruits shall also be relaxable upto a maximum of 5 years or the number of years ( in completed years ) whichever is less provided they rendered service in the same or allied field in organization (s) under Government Departments / Statutory or Autonomous bodies / Universities / affiliated or constituent colleges under the University / PSUs rendered at least three years regular service in the same or allied field.
- Upper age limit as prescribed for direct recruits shall not be insisted upon in the case of departmental candidates provided they have rendered at least three years regular service in the University.
- Candidates serving in Government / Autonomous Bodies / PSUs etc. are required to send their applications through proper channel.
