Needs Director

1. Applications are invited from suitable candidates for appointment to the post of Director in Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITD&M), Kancheepuram in the pay scale of Rs.25, 000/- (fixed). The total emoluments would be approximately Rs.50, 000/-. The appointment will be made on contract, basis for a period of five years. The Director will be governed by the Memorandum of Association (MOA), Rules and Bye-laws of the Institute.

He should have organizing and leadership capabilities besides a wide ranging interest in regard to conduct research on different aspects of Engineering Design and Manufacturing in general and Information Technology in particular. He must have very impressive academic credentials (Ph.D. Degree with first class degree at Bachelor's or Master's level with Engineering) and administrative experience. The candidate must possess academic standing corresponding to a Professor. He should preferably not be more than 60 years of age.
