'Guide the Trajectory of National Progress'

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), which is a deemed to be University under Sec.3 of the UGC Act 1956, was set up under Indian Space Research Organisation, Department of Space, to offer Undergraduate programme in Space Technology and Integrated Masters in Applied Science.

The Institute offers post graduate programme, doctoral programme and post doctoral fellowship in Space Technology, Space Science and Space Applications. The programme has customized curricula to suit the high technology requirements of ISRO.

The maiden academic programme has commenced from the Academic Year 2007-08 in a full-fledged alternate campus adjunct to the world renowned Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre at Thiruvananthapuram.

The faculty has the unique opportunity of associating themselves in high technology R&D activities of the organization. The Institute offers the following regular Faculty position for professionals who are willing to take up the challenges of Academia and high technology research:

Age Limit: 40 Years.

• The qualification and experience prescribed are minimum requirement and do not automatically make a candidate eligible to be called for interview.
• Higher starting salary will be given for meritorious candidates.
• Application with relevant documents should reach on or before the last date stipulated-
• Application received after the last date prescribed will not be considered-
• TA will be paid to candidates called for interview-
• Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
• Department reserves the right not to fill-up all, or any of the posts.
• Age relaxation up to maximum of five years will be awarded for serving academicians in Government institutions.
