SG / Removal of Toxic Organic Pollutants From Waste Water Using Catalytic Wet Oxidation Process RA1: (1 Post) Eligibility: B.E. or B.Tech. in Environmental Science and/or Engineering or MSc in Environmental Chemistry or M.E./M.Tech. in Environmental Science and/or Engineering or Industrial Pollution Abatement or other similar specializations. Salary: Consolidated salary Rs.16000/- p.m. Job Profile: The Research Assistant will do experimental work on the treatment of wastewater using chemical processes. He/She will analyze the data and prepare the reports. The post holder will be assigned other project related duties time to time.
A minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience.
Experience with nanotubes, their dye functionalization and steady state and time resolved fluorescence techniques is essential.
Salary: Consolidated salary Rs.18000/- p.m. + HRA Job Profile: Preparation and study of ultrafast dynamics of luminescent nanostructures.

NET/GATE qualified with a minimum of one year research experience in Synthetic Organic Chemistry after M.Sc. Salary: Consolidated salary Rs.12000/- p.m. + HRA Job Profile: Candidate would be responsible for synthetic methodology development with applications to the multi steps synthesis of natural products.
Electrical Engineering

Development of Competence in Coupled Electromagnetic-Structural analysis JRF: (1 Post) Eligibility: BE/B.Tech Mechanical with experience in modeling and analysis of nonlinear structural system using FEM. Salary: Consolidated salary Rs.12000/- p.m. Job Profile: Development of FEM code in MATLAB for simulating electromagnetic forming process. Exposure to ANSYS FEM software is desirable.
Mechanical Engineering

DST/ Flexible Reconfigurable Fiber Laser Systems for Materials Processing PRE: (1 Post) Eligibility: Basic qualification is a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering but candidates with Masters Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering will be given additional preference. Salary: Consolidated salary Rs.12000/- p.m. Job Profile: The project is aimed at developing fiber laser technologies for laser-assisted machining, laser surface hardening and cladding. The job will involve development of experimental setups and process modeling.
The positions are temporary initially for a period of one year and tenable only for the duration of project.
The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
