IIT Hyderabad invites applications for the following post:

Minimum Qualification and Experience for Registrar Jobs:

1. A Masters degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade,
2. At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer / Assistant Professor / Reader, of which 8 years should be in the Assistant Professor's Grade Rs.12,000-18,300 (pre-revised) with experience in Educational Administration or Comparable experience in research establishments and other Institutions of higher education or 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar Rs.12,000-18,300 scale (pre-revised) or an equivalent post.

Desirable Qualification for Registrar Posts:

Considerable experience in educational administration, financial and personnel management, capacity to lead administration in a residential Institution and R&D Institution.

General Information:

1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Reservation for ST / SC / OBC / PH / Ex-Serviceman as per Central govt. rules.
3. Persons employed in Government / Semi Government Organisations / Autonomous Bodies should submit their applications through proper channel.
4. Degree as referred above should have been awarded by a recognized University / Institute.
5. Mere eligibility will not vest any right on any candidate for being called for interview. The decision of the Institute in all matters will be final. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates in connection with the process of selection / interview. Canvassing in any manner would entail disqualification of the candidature.
6. Experience prescribed may be relaxed in the case of exceptionally meritorious candidates.
7. The Institute reserves the right to call only the requisite number of candidates for interview after short-listing with reference to the candidate's qualification, suitability, experience, etc.
8. Incomplete applications or applications without attested copies of certificates or received after the last date are liable to be rejected.
