Advertisement for Faculty Positions
The Institute invites applications in the prescribed format for recruitment to the following faculty positions by direct recruitment on All India basis as per details given below

If no sufficient and/or suitable candidate from OH category found in the Branch of IT, OH candidates from in . any of the other discipline such as ECE / COE / ICE / MPAE. Will be considered, who may also apply.
Minimum Qualifications & Experiences:
Lecturer (Engineering & Technology):
Essential: First Class Bachelors degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
OR
First Class Master Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology from a recognized University or equivalent. No minimum experience required.
Lecturer (Humanities & Sciences): Good Academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at the Master's degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or equivalent degree from a Foreign University.
Besides, fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturer conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Age Limit: (as on last date for receipt of applications):- Up to 35 years. The upper age limit will be relaxable up to 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC).
The closing date prescribed for those in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J & K State, Lahaul & Spiti district and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands or Lakshadeep would be relaxed by 15 days.
Fees: Candidates are exempted from payment of application fees under PH category.
General Conditions:
The Institute is an Autonomous body under Govt, of NCT of Delhi and as per orders of the Govt., there is No Pension Scheme for the employees joining after 1st January 2001.
If a Class/ Division is not awarded at B.E./ B. Tech., M.E./ M.Tech./ Equivalent degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to First Class/ Division, If a grade point system is adopted, the CGPA will be converted to equivalent marks and minimum CGPA shall be 6.75 in the scale of 10.
Separate applications should be submitted for each post, failing which the application(s) is liable to be rejected.
The SC/ST candidates must enclose a certificate from the concerned District Magistrate.
Only those OBC candidates, whose state of origin are Delhi and notified for Delhi are entitled for the benefit of reservation applicable to OBCs in the job under GNCTD of Delhi.
The OBC candidates are required to send their non-creamy layer certificate as per Govt. Notification otherwise their application will be considered in general category.
The candidates belonging to SC/ST and OBC are free to apply as general candidates also.
The prescribed qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of essential and desirable qualifications of the same does not entitle the candidates to be called for the interview.
The candidates already in service must apply through proper channel.
All the candidates should attach with their applications self-attested copies of all certificates in r/o Educational Qualifications and Experience etc. Original certificates should be produced only at the time of Interview.
The candidates short-listed for the interview shall be informed by post. The Institute will not, however, be responsible for any postal delay.
The Institute reserves the right not to fill up any post and also the no. of posts may be decreased or increased depending upon the actual requirement.
Incomplete applications or applications received after last date shall not be considered.
The minimum degree of disability in order for a person to be eligible for any concession/benefit under PH Category would be 40% or as per orders issued by Govt. Of India from time to time, (subject to submission of necessary attested copy of certificate from the Govt Hospital /Medical Board in support of his/her claim for being handicapped along with the application).
