Scale of Pay: Rs.16, 400-450-20,000 plus allowances, privileges superannuation benefit like CPF – Gratuity as applicable to the Institute employees.

Requirements: Essential: First Class or Higher II class Master’s Degree in any subject coupled with a post graduates degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation with consistently good academic record and relevant publication in professional journals.

Desirable: M.Phil. / Ph.D. degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation. Essential experience of minimum 8 years in a large Academic Library. Candidates in the pay scale of Rs.12, 000-375-16,400 or above only need apply.

Age: Around 50 years
