Director A Unique Opportunity To Lead A National Level Management Institution.

The candidate should have strong vision, strategy and organisational leadership to build the Institute as a pre-eminent centre in textile management.

He should be dynamic and creative with the ability to articulate and implement the vision of the Institute. Effective and persuasive communication skills is a must. He must have adequate experience in setting up and guiding an Institution with strong abilities in resource mobilization building relationships and ability to attract and manage high quality staff.

He should take responsibility for the development of program content, appointment of faculty, quality assurance in content and teaching. He should be a scholar with managerial skills.

The ideal candidate will have

(a) earned a Ph.D. and Post Graduation in Management from a leading Business School;

(b) atleast 10 years experience in textile industry in Senior Management positions such as Director or General Manager or equivalent post in a large sized textile company/Institution;

(c) an enthusiastic commitment to teaching excellence and innovation in the development of educational programmes and understanding management consultancy services;

(d) a basic degree in textile technology with industry/research experience in textile will be an added advantage.

Age: Should not exceed 55 years.

Appointment will be on a fixed term contract of 5 years and renewable for another 5 years subject to mutual agreement.

Emoluments: Rs.50, 000/-(Approx.) along with other perks like chauffer driven car, furnished accommodation, entertainment allowance etc.
