Sardar Valtabhbhai Patel Institute of Textile Management, an Autonomous Institute, has been established by the Ministry of Textiles, Govt, of India to serve as a Centre of Excellence in Textiles Management Education, Training, Consultancy and Research.

Apart from full time courses, the Institute also organises innovative Executive Development Programmes to arm executives in the industry with the knowledge and tools needed to compete and win in today's globalised economy.

At present, the Institute is offering three long & short term programmes, viz.,

• PGDM (Textiles) (Fulltime 2 years)
• PGDM (Apparel)- (Fulltime 2 years)

Post Diploma In Home Textile Management (Fulltime 1 Year) The Institute wishes to recruit the following faculty positions on contract basis.

Also required Visiting /Guest Faculty in the following subjects for this session from industry, academic institutions and retired professionals:

1. Fashion Management
2. Fabric Structure and Design
3. Chemical Processing
4. Business Communication
