The Appointments Against the Posts of Assistant Professor will be “Tentative in Nature” and Subject to Final Outcome of the Slp No.2106/2002 Pending Before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India on Reservation of Posts for Sc/St/Obc.
The posts of Additional Professor of C.T.V.S., Additional Professor of Cardiology, Assistant Professor of Cardiology, Assistant Professor of C.T.V.S., Assistant Professor of Intensive Care for C.T.V.S. including Cardiac Transplantation Programme, Assistant Professor of Cardiac Anaesthesia and Assistant Professor of Cardiac Pathology are for Cardio-Thoracic Centre.
The post of Professor of Genetics is for the Department of Anatomy.
The post of Professor of Prosthodontics, Assistant Professor of Conservative Dentistry, Assistant Professor of Prosthdontics and Assistant Professor of Pedodontics are for the Centre for Dental Education and Research.
The posts of Professor of Neurosurgery, Additional Professor of Neuro-Surgery, Associate Professor of Neurology, Assistant Professor of Neuro-Radiology and Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery are for Neurosciences Centre.
The posts of Professor of Medical Oncology, Professor of Surgical Oncology, Additional Professor of Medical Physics, Associate Professor of Radio-Diagnosis, Associate Professor of Anaesthesiology, Associate Professor of Radiotherapy, Associate Professor of Surgical Oncology, Assistant Professor of Surgical Oncology, Assistant Professor of Radiotherapy and Assistant Professor of Laboratory Oncology are for Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Rotary Cancer Hospital.
The post of Professor of Cytopathology is for the Department of Pathology.
The post of Assistant Professor of Assistant Professor of Health Education is for the Centre for Community Medicine.
The post of Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology (Gastroenterology) is for the Department of Gastroenterology.
The post of Assistant Professor of Psychiatry is for the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre, Ghaziabad.
The post of Assistant Professor of Medical Physics (Non-Medical) is for the Department of Nuclear Medicine.
The post of Assistant Professor of Speech Pathology/Audiology is for the Department of Otorhinolaryngology.
The posts of Assistant Professor of Community Ophthalmology & Assistant Professor of Ocular Pharmacology are for Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences.
Upper Age Limit: 50(fifty) years, relaxable for Government Servants, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes candidates or otherwise exceptionally qualified candidates. Upper age limit up to 5 years is relaxable for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and 3 years in the case of OBC candidates.
The effective date up-to which the requisite experience must be completed is 30th June, 2009.
The applicants who do not have requisite qualifications up-to the last date for submission of applications, will not be considered.
All the posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Delhi/New Delhi. However, the above mentioned pay scales are likely to be revised.
Late & incomplete application, i.e. applications not in the prescribed proforma (3 copies), short bio-data (12 copies) and without a bank draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.100/- in case of SC/ST candidates) as application fee, will not be considered.
The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill the post(s) advertised.
Separate applications must be submitted, if a candidate is applying for a faculty position in more than one post.
No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from the candidates regarding postal delays, conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview or selection.
The persons belonging to SC/ST/OBC community must submit the proof in the prescribed format as per rules, along-with the application.
While every effort will be made to provide residential accommodation to the faculty staff appointed at the Institute subject to availability but in view of the paucity of the residential accommodation in the campus it may not be possible to provide accommodation in every case. In the event that no accommodation is provided, necessary H.R.A. as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Delhi/New Delhi will be provided.
Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.
