Applications are invited for the posts of Pharmacist in the pay scale of Rs.4550-7220 on regular basis (with initial start of Rs. 4700/-) from the eligible candidates having qualifications and experience as mentioned against post in the format given below :

01	Pharmacist (4550-7220) with initial start of Rs. 4700/-	02	-	-	02	Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution after 10+2/ its equivalent from a recognized University/Board. or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, B. Pharmacy from a recognized University/ Institution. Should be registered with the Pharmacy Council of India under the Pharmacy Act, 1948. Desirable: Knowledge of computers.

Note:

1) The candidates should be between the age group of 18-25 years as on 01.01.2007 relaxable by 10 years for widows/deserted women/physically handicapped persons, 5 years for regular Govt, servants through proper channel.

2) Application Fee: Rupees 100/- as non-refundable, in the shape of demand draft payable at Chandigarh drawn in favour of Director Principal, Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh. Physically handicapped persons are exempted from Application fee.

3) The number of posts are tentative and can increase or decrease.

4) The candidates should attach self attested copies of certificates/testimonials alongwith one passport size photograph in support of their qualifications/ experience/sports & Computer knowledge etc. failing which their candidature shall summarily be rejected.

5) Incomplete application, applications without testimonials in support of qualifications/ experience / D.O.B/ without fee and received after due date shall not be entertained.

6) Applications complete in all respect must reach on or before 31.01.2008 to the office of,
