Name of the Post: Research Assistant (UR) - One Post

Scale of Pay: Rs.9,300 - 34,800/-; Grade Pay Rs.4.200/-

Essential Qualification: M.Sc.(Statistics)

Job Requirement:

1. Experience of working on computer / Knowledge of Modern Statistical Softwares.
2. Compile and analyze data related to Medical/Biological Sciences.
3. Perform other tasks related to field / epidemiological team as required by his / her supervisor.

Name of the Post: Research Assistant (UR) - Two Posts

Scale of Pay: Rs.9,300-34,800/-; Grade Pay Rs.4,200/-

Essential Qualification: M.Sc in Life Science.

Job Requirement: To work in laboratory with scientist conducting Research & Training.

Experience: Experience in Molecular Biology, immunology, Microbiological aspects.

Name of the Post: Library Information Assistant (UR) - One Post

Scale of Pay: Rs.9,300-34,800/-; Grade Pay Rs.4, 200/-

Essential Qualification:

1. Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University.
2. Degree in Library Sciences from a recognized University.

Desirable: Knowledge of working in computer environment.

Job Requirement: Gasifying, Cataloguing and accessioning of new books/Journals, re-cataioguing of old books/Journals to borrower, supplying information to and dealing with readers, books & periodical stock verification matter etc. and as per RRS, as amended from time to time.

Name of the Post: Laboratory Assistant (UR) - One Post

Scale of Pay: Rs.5,200 Plus Grade Pay 2,400/-

Essential Qualification: High School with one year experience of medical laboratory.

Desirable: MLT from recognized Institution By Government.

Name of the Post: Upper Division Clerk (Unreserved) - One Post

Scale of Pay: 5,200- 20,200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs.2,400/-

Job Requirement: He / She will have to carry out administrative/purchase related duties of the Institute, computerised accounting system and related activities.

Essential Qualification: A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university, and should skilled in Computer Operation.

Experience: Applicant must have not less than 5 years approved services to the Post of L.D.C or equivalent.

Desirable: Diploma/Certificate in Office Management from a reputed Institute OR Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application from a recognized Institute OR three years Experience in establishment work in a Government, Department / Autonomous Institute.

Name of the Post: Technician (Unreserved) - One Post

Scale of Pay: Rs.5,200 - 20,200/- Plus Grade Pay Rs.2,800/-

Job Requirement:

1. To work in different Laboratory, like Bio-chemistry, Microbiology, Clinical Pathology-etc.
2. To Assist Scientist in Research work/investigation of Blood Etc. with knowledge of Laboratory investigation.

Essential Qualification & Experience: B.Sc or Intermediate with Diploma in MLT or High School with 5 years Laboratory experience.

Name of the Post: Laboratory Attendant (UR - 2 Posts, SC - 1 Post)

Scale of Pay: 5,200-20,200/-plus grade Pay 1,800/-

Essential Qualification & Experience: High School with one year experience in the relevant field.

Age limit of all above Posts: Below 28 years on 10.08.2009 (Age relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST Candidate and 3 years for OBC Candidate and for Others as per ICMR Rules.)
