ICMR applications giving full details on plain paper regarding age, educational qualifications, experience etc., along with copy of testimonials are invited upto 30th December 2009 for appointment of one Post of Senior Technical Officer (unreserved) under "JE Control Trial Studies" project attached with Centre for Research in Medical Entomotology (Indian Council of Medical Research), Madurai and sanctioned upto 31.03.2010, which may be extended on year to year basis on functional requirements.

Educational Qualification for Senior Technical Officer Posts:

M.Sc. First Class in Life Science with seven years Technical Experience (or) Graduate in Life Science with 13 years Technical Experience.

Age:

Below 45 years; however relaxation will be permissible in accordance with rules.

Senior Technical Officer Salary:

Consolidated salary of Rs.16,560/- p.m. will be granted.

In addition HRA will be granted depending on their place of posting.

Job requirement for Senior Technical Officer:

Job will involve tours in the study areas of JE project located at Vridhachalam, Gorakhpur (UP), Kerala and to the endemic areas of field whenever Disaster Management study is taken up by CRME.
