1. Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, an Institute of excellence in the field of liver and biliary diseases has been established by the Govt, of NCT of Delhi as a society.

ILBS will set a bench mark as one of the best medical care Institute in the world in the speciality of liver and also shall act as one of the finest research and training centers having a pool of top professionals.

2. The Institute invites applications, from eligible candidates, to fill up the following posts. 3. All appointments shall be on "contract basis" and will be initially for a period of' four year' including a probationary period of one year. The contractual appointment may be extended for a further period of 'four years' based on performance of the candidate during the initial period of four years.

4. All the post(s) are on 'consolidated package basis' and do not carry any other allowances. The incumbents will be eligible for an annual increment of 7.5% of pay + DP. The remuneration packages are based on minimum basic pay of the pay scales as per HR policy of ILBS.

5. The above vacancies are subject to change at any given point of time and the institute reserves the right whether or not to fill up any post. No appeal will be entertained or accepted.

6. The effective date for reckoning the requisite experience and the upper age limit will be 01-01-2008. The applicants, who do not have the requisite qualifications till 01-01-2008 will not be considered.

7. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates.

9. Application in prescribed Performa along with attested copies of certificates and testimonials and bank draft for prescribed fee must reach the Camp Office of the Project Director, Institute Of Liver & Biliary Sciences, Room No. A-1, Ground Floor, Academic Block, GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi-110002 latest by 15-01-2008.

10. Applicants working in Central Government/State Government /AB/ PSU etc to apply through proper channel.

11. Working knowledge of computers is essential for all the posts.

12. Applicant should clearly indicate in Bold Letters, the name of the post applied for, on top of the envelope.

13. The Candidates appearing for the interview should bear the cost of traveling and stay on their own.
