It is proposed to fill up the post of Accounts Officer in pay scale of Rs.7450-225-11500/- at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research, Pondicherry – 6 by the method of Transfer on deputation, Eligibility requirements of the post are as follows: -

Promotion / Deputation

1. Officers under the Central Government
(A) (i) Holding analogous posts in the post on regular basis; or
(ii) with two years regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.6500-10500/- or equivalent; or
(iii) with five years regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.5500-9000/- or equivalent and

(B) possessing any one of the following qualifications:
(i) a pass in the subordinate accounts service or equivalent examination conducted by any of the organized accounts departments of the Central Government.
(ii) Successful completion of training in case and accounts work in the institute of Secretarial Training and Management or equivalent and possessing two years experience in cash, accounts and budget work.

The Departmental Asst. Accounts Officer with five years’ regular service in the grade will also be considered along with the outsiders and in case he selected for appointment to the post the same shall be deemed to have been filled by promotion.

2. Period of deputation: Not exceeding 3 years

3. The Pay & Allowance and other terms and conditions will be regulated in accordance with Department of Personnel and Training’s OM No.2/12/87-Estt.S.II dated 29.4.88 as amended from time to time.

4. Application in the prescribed proforma (Annexure) and duly filled in names of suitable officers who fulfill the eligibility conditions and are willing and can be spared immediately on selection, May be forwarded to the undersigned through proper channel within 60 days of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News. The application should be accompanied with Integrity certificate, Vigilance clearance and up-to-date ACR dossiers, duly attested (on page to page) by an Officer not below the rank of Under Secretary. While forwarding the application it may be certified that no disciplinary / vigilance case is either pending or being contemplated against the applicant. A statement showing minor / major penalities imposed, if any, for the last ten years may also be furnished. Candidates selected once will not be allowed to withdraw.

5. Application received after due date or incomplete or without ACR dossier etc., shall not be entertained.

6. The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Govt. shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
