Applications are invited up to 16th Oct 2006 in the following format for the following posts:

Professor: 2 posts: (1 each in Bal roga (OBC) and swastha vritta (general). Pay scale: 14300-18300, Age: maximum 55 years as on 1-1-07. Qualification: PG qualification in Ayurveda in the concerned subject recognized by CCIMA/Ayurveda vachaspati, MD of university of rajasthan in the concerned subject. 7 years as reader in PG teaching in the concerned subject or 12 years combined experience in PG teaching in the subject concerned and research. Desirable: PhD in Auyrveda extensive experience in research. Working knowledge in Hindi and English.

Associate Professor: 6 posts: ( 1 each in kayachikitsa (SC backlog), sharir kriya (SC), maulik siddhanta (general), sharir rachana (general), shalya tantra (SC) and rasa shastra (OBC)). Pay scale: 12000-16500. Age: maximum 50 years as on 1-1-07. Qualification: PG qualification in Ayurveda in the concerned subject recognized by CCIMA/Ayurveda vachaspati, MD of university of rajasthan in the concerned subject. 5 years as Sr. Lecturer or Asst. Professor in PG teaching in the concerned subject or 10 years combined experience in PG teaching in the subject concerned and research. Desirable: PhD in Auyrveda extensive experience in research. Working knowledge in Hindi and English.

Important Instruction: An application fee of Rs.100/- in the form of DD in favour of Director, National institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur should accompany the filled in application form along with attested copies of all testimonials. Fee once paid will not be refunded. SC and ST candidates need not send any fee. The upper age limit prescribed shall be relaxed by 5 years in the case of persons belonging to SCs, STs, women candidates, blind & physically handicapped and for OBC, candidates as per rules. However, the upper age limit prescribed shall not be applicable to persons in service of the institute. Candidates already in service must route their application through proper channel. The director reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies and to reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.

Format of applications: Name of the post and subject applied for, full name (in block letters) (please affix an attested latest passport size photo), father’s/husband’s name, date of birth and age, address for communication, category, educational qualification, experience, publications/research papers, articles etc, participation in seminars etc.
