Oman Medical College

Oman Medical College (OMC) is a private institution in the Sultanate of Oman offering degree programs in Medicine (M.D) and Pharmacy (B.Pharm). The programs are developed in academic partnership with the West Virginia University School of Medicine in the United States of America. The medium of instruction is English. Positions in the following disciplines are currently available.

1. Assistant Dean - Clinical Affairs (AD - CA - 08)

Qualification: Should have appropriate higher postgraduate qualifications and with minimum of 10 years experience involvement in administrative and clinical work, research and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.

2. Basic Medical Sciences (BMS - T - 08)

To teach Anatomy (Histology & Embryology), Neuro Anatomy, Physiology, Neuro Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Public Health, Epidemiology and Bio Statistics.

Qualification: Should have Ph.D or M.D and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a reputed medical school.

3. Pre Medical Teaching (PM - T - 08):

To teach Biology & Chemistry.

Qualification: Should have Ph.D in the relevant discipline.

4. Clinical Teaching (C - T - 08):

To teach Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry and FAMCO.

Qualification: Should have a post graduate degree in medical sciences and a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a reputed medical school.

5. Registrar - Academic (A-R-08):

Qualification: Should have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 3 years experience in the similar cadre in one of the academic institutions that follows credit course system. Proficiency in IT skills is essential.

6. Quality Assurance Officer (A-QA-08):

Qualification: Should have Masters degree preferably in Management/Business Administration. Ph.D and experience in educational administration is desirable.
