PGIMER Chandigarh invites applications on the prescribed forms (from citizens of India) for the following Posts in the Department of Radiotherapy.

Pay Scale :

1. For the post of Associate Professor Rs.14300-400-16300 plus
   NPA (subject to revision under 6th CPC)
2. For the Post of Assistant Professor Rs.11625-325-15200 plus
   NPA (subject to revision under 6th CPC)

Qualification and Experience:

Essential Qualifications for Associate Professor Posts:

1. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act)
2. The candidate must be registered with the State / Central Medical Council.
3. DM Medical Oncology.

Clinical & Teaching Experience:

4 years teaching and / or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying two years degree of DM or

3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying three years degree of DM.

Essential Qualifications for Assistant Professor Posts:

1. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.)
2. The candidate must be registered with the State / Central Medical Council.
3. DM Medical Oncology.

Clinical & Teaching Experience:

One year teaching and or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying two years degree of DM In case of three years DM degree in the subject of speciality, no such experience is required.
