Applications on prescribed form are invited for the post of Hospital Engineer (Electrical) on deputation basis in the Central Pay Scale with the qualification mentioned below:-

Educational Qualification / Experience

(i) The Officer should be in the equivalent grade of Executive Engineer or should be having at least 8 years experience in the grade of Assistant Engineer and possessing degree in respective branch of Engineering i.e. Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution / University.

(ii) The Officer should have experience in the electrical installations in multi-storeyed buildings, Augmentation of Sub-stations, Transformers, DG Sets etc. and should have consistently very good service record for the last 5 years. Application forms and other information can be obtained from the Establishment Branch of the office of Supdg. Hospital Engineer, PGI either personally or on written request accompanied by a self addressed stamped Rs. 10/- envelope (27 cm x 12 cm) alongwith Demand Draft of Rs. 525/- (Rs. 275/-for SC/ST candidates) in favour of "The Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh" as non-refundable fee and cost of application form etc.

A crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 500/-(Rs.250/-for SC/ST candidates) should be attached with the application downloaded from our website towards non-refundable application fee. Incomplete applications and the applications received after due dates will be summarily rejected.
