1. Essential Qualifications for the Post of College of Nursing:-
For Principal:
Masters Degree in Nursing with advanced specialization on Nursing.Must be registered Nurse and Midwife.
10 years experience in the nursing field after registration as nurse out of which 7 years must have been spent in nursing education or administration after obtaining the prescribed postgraduate qualification.
For Lecturers:
Masters Degree in Nursing from a recognized Institution/University.Must be registered Nurse and Midwife.
5 years experience with a minimum of two years teaching experience in Nursing after obtaining the postgraduate qualification.
For Tutor:
B. Sc. In Nursing from a recognized Institution/University. (OR) Must be registered Nurse and Midwife, with sister tutors diploma.
Minimum of three years teaching experience in Nursing after obtaining the B. Sc in Nursing qualification Or sister tutors diploma.
Essential Qualifications for the Post of College of Medical Technology:-
For Principal:
Masters Degree in medical Technology with advanced specialization on Medical Technology.10 years experience in the Medical Technology out of which 7 years must have been spent in Medical Technology education or administration after obtaining the prescribed postgraduate qualification.
For Lecturers:
Masters Degree in Medical Technology from a recognized Institution / University.Minimum of three years teaching experience in Medical Technology after obtaining the M. Sc. in medical Technology qualification.
For Tutor:
B. Sc. in Medical Technology from a recognized Institution / University.Minimum of three years teaching experience in Medical Technology after obtaining the prescribed B. Sc. Medical Technology qualification.
How to Apply
Candidates should send the application on plain along with a recent self signed passport size photograph giving full details.
Advertisement No., Name of the post, Bank Draft (Number, Date, Amount & Name of issuing Bank), Name of the candidate, Father`s/Husband Name and occupation, Date of Birth, Marital Status (Single/Married), Permanent Address, Correspondence Address, Name of the State (You belong Originally), Category (Caste certificate issued by competent authority), Academic Qualification (Exam pass, year Board/University, division, percentage of marks and subjects), Details of experience (Post held, period of working, scale of pay employer’s name and address, nature of duties), Signature of candidate with date.
Attested copies of testimonials / documents in support of age date of birth, educational qualification, experience and caste must be enclosed with the application.
A Bank Draft of Rs.40/- in case of SC category candidates of Uttar Pradesh only and Rs.100/- in case of OBC & General category candidate in favour of the Director,S.G.P.G.I.M.S., Lucknow payable at the State Bank of India, S.G.P.G.I.M.S. Branch, Lucknow (Code No.7789) must be enclosed along with the application which is non-refundable.
Applications addressed to the Director, Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Raebareli Road, Lucknow – 226 014 (U.P.) should be sent by registered post only.
Envelope should be super scribed with the advertisement No. and name of the post.Director reserves the right to cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason and in that case Application fee will not be refunded.
No. of post may increase or decrease depending on need of Institute. No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the test/Interview.
Applicant working in Govt./Semi-Govt./Undertaking/Autonomous Institute should apply through proper channel or produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.
Candidate with higher qualifications shall be preferred. Maximum age limit (including relaxation period), reckoned as on 01.07.2006.
