Applications are invited for the following positions in ACTREC

Qualifications and Experience

M.Sc. (Physics) with 60% marks and Diploma in Radiological Physics conducted by DRP, BARC or M.Sc. (Medical Physics) or equivalent. Candidates with more than 4 / 9 years experience may be considered for higher grade D / E.

M.Tech or equivalent qualification with minimum 1 year experience or Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering / Radiological Medical Physics. Experience with instrumentation and radiological physics is necessary. Candidates with experience of 5 years after M.Tech or 3 year after Ph.D. may be considered for higher grade of S.O. ‘E’. The selected candidates are expected to develop new solutions and indigenous equipment and to conduct research using state-of-the-art radiology and radiotherapy equipments available at ACTREC / Tata Memorial Hospital.

Masters in Pharmacology (M.Pharm.) with minimum 4 years work experience in a large pharmacology unit of modern hospital. Well versed with Pharmacology Clinical Trials and experience in teaching or research is necessary. He / She will work as part of a Clinical Pharmacology Unit to conduct and facilitate pharmacology research, accreditation program of the centre and supervise the functions of dispensary, drug procurement, quality control, and audit.

M.Sc. with minimum 60% marks. Experience in handling Mass Spectrometer and Liquid Chromatography System and or related analytical instruments in a research lab or an industry. Candidates with an aptitude for bioinformatics and instrumentation will be preferred.

B.Sc. (Physics) with minimum 55% marks – 2 years Technician’s Course in Radiotherapy or equivalent. Preference will be given to those who have some experience in the field.
Qualifications mentioned above should be from recognized institutions / universities.
Prescribed Fees
Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of TMC-ACTREC payable at Navi Mumbai. SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
All the above posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government employees. Added benefits not exceeding 5 years for Pension will be applicable as per rules in case of scientific posts in Research Cadre.
