| Teaching Experience | - As Reader / Associate Professor in Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery / Cardiac Surgery / Vascular Surgery / Thoracic Surgery for four years in a recognised6 medical college / teaching institution.
Desirable for Cardio Vascular Thoracic Surgery :
- Minimum of four Research publications indexed in Index Medicus / national journal and one in International Journal.

- As Associate Professor in the subject concerned for three years in a recognised medical college / Institute.
and
- Research Publications are published / accepted for publication in indexed / national journal or journal by National associations / societies of the respective specialties as a first author.
Further provided that the requirement of Four research publications for promotion to the post of Professor should be taken on cumulative basis with minimum of Two research publications must be published during the tenure of Associate Professor.

| Remuneration | - Pay + fixed incentive upto 5 Lacs per month can be considered for deserving candidates, which will be decided on merits, work performance and seniority.
- Remuneration will be negotiated at the time of interview. 10% yearly increment will also be considered.

| Note | - Further provided that for the transitory period of Four years w.e.f. 24th July, 2009, the appointment / promotion to the postof professor can be made by the Institute in accordance with the "Minimum qualifications for teachers in medical Institutions regulations, 1998" as prevailing before notification of "Minimum qualifications for teachers in medical Institutions ( Amendment ) regulations, 2009".

| Important Instruction and conditions for the post | - Age upto 65 years or as per MCI Norms.
- An initial appointment will be for two years from the date of joining which will be extended for further period of three years on satisfactory performance at the Institute.
- Experience in Cardiac Hospital / Cardiac Department in Multi - Speciality Hospital.
- Candidates should remain present in person at the time of interview along with all original documents regarding date of birth, academic qualifications ( Institution / University from which passed, Year of passing, mark sheets, attempt certificate etc. ) teaching experience, special achievement, if any, with xerox copy of the certificates in support and a passport size photograph etc.
- Computer Literacy will be essential ( minimum MS - Office ) for this post.
- Medical Council of India ( MCI ) norms will be applicable.
