Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) Bhopal - Physical Standards:

• Appointment to the post will be subject to being found medically fit by the Authorized Medical Authority in BHEL. The appointment of the selected candidates will be subject to meeting the health standards prescribed by the Company. No relaxation in health standards is allowed.
• The candidates are advised in their own interest that they should get themselves thoroughly examined by a competent medical officer before applying against the advertisement. Colour blindness and squint are disqualification for the advertised posts.
• The definition of various disabilities for reservation in the matter of vacancies for Physically Challenged candidates under the Persons with Disabilitities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act 1995 are as under:
• Locomotor Disability means minimum of 40 % of physical defect or deformity which causes an interference with the normal functioning of the bones, joints or muscles. Hearing Impairment means loss of sixty decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies. Blindness refers to a condition where a person suffers from blindness or low vision.
• Only such persons would be eligible for reservation who suffer from not less than 40% of relevant disability.
• The Physically Challenged candidates are required to furnish duly stamped Medical Certificate in relation to their disability from Government Hospital or Medical Board attached to Special Employment Exchange for the handicapped.

Processing/ Examination Fees

A Non-refundable processing/examination fee of Rs.125/- in two installments i.e., (Rs.50/- at the time of sending of Acknowledgement slip after submission of online application form And Rs.75/- at the time of Written Test, if shortlisted.) is payable by General and OBC candidates.

The payment of this fees will be made through non refundable A/c payee Demand draft in favour of M/s Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Bhopal and payable at Bhopal in HET Branch code 0519.

SC, ST and Physically challenged candidates are exempted from paying the Processing/ Examination Fees.
