Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan

Requires Teachers

For its Indian Educational School, Kuwait in the following subjects, for the academic session from March 2007.

Primary: English, Hindi, French, (2 posts), Mathematics, Science
Middle: English
Secondary: English, Hindi, French, Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Only persons who meet the following criteria need to apply.

Proficient in the respective subject, very good command over English language and excellent pronunciation, professionally inclined, public or convent educated, graduate with B. Ed. for primary level and post-graduate with B. Ed. For middle and secondary levels.

Teachers should be in the age group of 35-45 and have at least ten years of teaching experience, preferably in any of the Bhavan`s Schools. They should be aware of the culture and heritage of the Bhavan.

The salary for post-graduate / M. Phil / Ph. D. teachers will be Rs.50, 000/- per month plus free furnished housing and annual ticket to India. For graduate teachers, it will be Rs. 35,000/- per month plus free furnished sharing accommodation and annual ticket to India. Family is not allowed in the first year and afterwards it may be allowed as per the prevailing law of the country.

Interviews will be arranged at any or all of the following locations: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kochi, during the last week of December 2006.
