Filling of the Post of Assistant Legal Advisor on Deputation Basis

1. One post of Assistant Legal advisor in the pay scale of Rs. 6500 – 200 – 10500 is proposed to be filled up on deputation basis at IARI, New Delhi – 12 under Indian Council of Agriculture Research. The deputation will ordinarily be for a period of three years. The particulars of the post, eligibility conditions etc. are given in Annexure – I.

2. The pay and deputation allowance in the scale of Rs. 6500 – 10500 will be regulated in accordance with Govt. of India rules / ICAR instructions issued from time to time.

3. Applications as per proforma prescribed (Annexure – II), alongwith attested copies of complete and up – to –date CR dossiers for the last five years of the officers, who can be spared immediately in the event of their selection, may be forwarded to the Sr. Admn, Officer, Personnel – II Section, Directorate, IARI, Pusa Campus, New Delhi- 12 within a period of six weeks from the date of publication of this advt. in the Employment News. Applications found incomplete will not be considered.

4. While forwarding the applications, it may also be verified and certified that the particulars furnished by the officers are correct and no disciplinary case is either pending or contemplated against him and no major or minor penalty was imposed during the last 10 years on the officer. The integrity of the officer may also be certified.

Eligibility

Officers holding analogous post on regular basis in the Government Departments / Autonomous Bodies / Government Undertakings with a Bachelor Degree in Law.

The Officer should have experience in the following matters: Arranging defence / contest of cases / vetting of petitions, replies, applications including HBA applications, appeals and different agreements / contracts / drafting of pleading / examination of court orders / MOUs / rending legal advice in legal matters / liasioning with advocated and other Judical authorities.
