1. Recruitment of Sub-Inspector (Overseer)

Applications are invited from Male Indian Citizens for filling up 66 posts of Sub-inspector (overseer) group ‘c’ in ITB Police from Indian citizens in the pay scale of Rs. 5500—175-9000/- plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Government employees from time to time and Ration Money, Washing Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance while posted in specified border areas, free accommodation or HRA, LTC, and any other allowances as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/instructions.

The selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. They will be governed by ITBPF Act & Rules.

Last date for receipt of applications is 15th october 2008 (15/10/2008) for all states except for north eastern states, ladhak division of jammu & kashmir, lahaul, spiti & pangi sub-division and chamba distric of himachal pradesh and andaman & nicobar and lakshdeep for which last date is 22nd october 2008 (22/10/2008).

Note :-

1. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.
2. + indicates vacancies reserved for Ex-Serviceman in the respective categories.
3. Above mentioned vacancies include backlog vacancies also.
4. They will be governed under ITBP Act and rules as well as CCS Rules and New Defined contribution Pension Scheme as notified vide Goverment of India, Ministry of Finance vide notification dated 22-12-2003.
