Institute of Life Sciences (ILS) Bhubaneswar is an emerging multidisciplinary institute engaged in advanced research in genomics, gene expression and regulation, proteomics, infectious disease, plant and environment biotechnology. ILS wishes to fill up the following vacancies in the Technical / Administrative cadres.

01. Junior Instrumentation Engineer (01 post, Unreserved)

Scale of pay: Rs. 6500 – 200 – 10500/- plus other allowance as admissible in the Institute. Essential Qualification: M.Sc. or equivalent with 5 years of experience / B.Sc. or equivalent with 8 years of experience in handling the biological scientific equipment B.E. / B.Tech. in Instrumentation with 3 years experience will also be considered. Upper age limit: 30 years (Relaxation of age is as per Government of India rules).

02. Technical Assistant (01 post, Unreserved)

Scale of pay: Rs. 5500 – 175 – 9000/- plus other allowances as admissible in the Institute. Essential Qualification: B.Sc. with 3 years of experience or Graduate in any discipline with diploma in Computer Applications with 3 years of relevant experience. Lab Technician / Technician in the feeder grade of Es. 5000 – 150 – 8000 /- with 7 years of experience in the respective trade will considered. Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. with diploma in Computer Applications. Upper age limit: 30 years (Relaxation of age is as per Government of India rules)

03. Lab Technician (02 posts, Unreserved)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 5000 -150 – 8000 /- plus other allowances admissible in the Institute. Essential Qualification: B.Sc. with 1 year of experience in R & D Laboratory or Three years diploma in Engineering Technology with 3 years experience. Desirable Qualification: M.Sc. Upper age limit: 30 years (Relaxation of age is as per Government of India rules).

04. Office Assistant (01 post, Unreserved)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 4000 – 100 – 6000/- plus other allowance as admissible in the Institute. Essential Qualification: Graduate with minimum one year of experience having the knowledge of Administration, Finance and Accounts matter, Establishment etc. Desirable Qualification: Post Graduate having one year experience. Upper age limit: 30 years (Relaxation of age is as per Government of India rules).
