Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) has been established by an Act of Gujarat State Legislature in 2007 and is promoted by Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC).

PDPU is supported by a host of private Oil, Gas, and Energy industries through a unique public-private educational and research initiative.

In the coming years, PDPU aims to be a leading global energy University with strong worldwide collaborations.

Institute of Solar Energy, Gandhinagar (ISEG) has been set up in 2008 as a constituent Institute of PDPU, to initiate intensive research and teaching programs in all forms of renewable energy, with emphasis on solar energy. Postgraduate programs at ISEG will commence in 2009.

ISEG invites applications for Faculty positions in all areas related to renewable energy.

Apart from an excellent academic and research record, candidates are expected to have strong interest and long-term commitment towards teaching and research in the relevant areas. Applications may be made for the position of

Master's Degree is essential for Lecturer's position and Doctorate for other positions.
