Applications are invited for appointment to the following posts of Professor and Reader in the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.

The posts are proposed to be filled in by Transfer on deputation / Ad-hoc basis initially for a period of one year and extendable for another year.

1. Professor of Hindi & Regional Languages, one post, Pay Scale Rs.16400-450-20900-500-22400.
2. Reader in Law, one post, Pay Scale Rs.12000-420-18300.

Age limit for deputationist: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation including short-term contract shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.

Experience and eligibility required for the post of Professor of Hindi and Regional Languages: Officers of the Central Government/State Governments /Union Territories/Public Sector Undertakings /Universities/Recognised Research Institutions /Autonomous /Semi-Government /Statutory Organisations:-

A

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
2. With two years' regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.14300-18300 or equivalent; or
3. With six years' regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.12000-18300 or equivalent; or
4. With eleven years' regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.10000-15200 or equivalent and Essential:

B

1. Post Graduate Degree in Hindi from a recognised University or equivalent and
2. Ten years experience in teaching Hindi including linguistics/language at college level/University level.

Desirable:

1. Doctorate Degree in Hindi from a recognised University or equivalent
2. Knowledge at the level of Matriculation of one of the Languages other than Hindi mentioned in the eighth schedule of the Constitution. Experience and eligibility required for the post of Reader in Law: Officers of the Central Government/ State Governments/ Union Territories/ Public Sector Undertakings/Universities/Recognised Research Institutions/ Autonomous/ Semi-Government/ Statutory Organisations :-

A

1. Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or
2. With five years' regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.10000-15200 or equivalent; or
3. With ten years' regular service in posts in the scale of Rs.8000-13500 or equivalent and

Essential:

B

1. Post Graduate Degree in Law from a recognized university or equivalent and
2. Five years' experience in teaching or research or training or administration or Judicial services or five years' practical experience at the Bar out of which two years should be in a High Court; or

C

1. Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent," and eight years' experience in research or training or teaching or administration or in Judicial Services; or
2. Eight years' practical experience at the bar out of which three years should be in a High court

Desirable:

1. Doctorate Degree in Law from a recognised University or equivalent
2. Experience as Additional District & Sessions Judge.Willing candidates are required to submit their applications through proper channel alongwith their complete bio-data and ACR dossiers (either in original or attested copies of ACRs for the last five years).
