Applications are invited for the following posts. MGIRI is a national level technological institute to make Indian rural industries globally competitive through innovation, creativity, productivity, quality and entrepreneurship.
It networks with lISc, IITs, NITs, etc. to empower the KVIC/MSME sector. Its earliest form (AIVIA, 1934) was due to Gandhiji and J C Kumarappa with Sir C V Raman, Dr J C Bose as advisors.
An IIT Delhi-KVIC collaboration has ushered in the modern MGIRI campus by revamping the Jamnalal Bajaj Central Research Institute.
The SSOs will be responsible for quality testing/product development; the PSOs will also involve in HRD and enterprise development while the DDs will lead the rural industrialization movement in the respective generic areas.

The application with attested copies of certificate in support of age, educational qualification etc. along with 2 passport size photograph (full name be written on backside) should reach the Director in the above address within 25 days of advertisement or within 32 days in case the applicant is from Northeast region of Assam Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh, Division of J&K State, Lahul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, the Union Territory of the Andaman and Nicobar Island and Union territory of Lakshadweep.
The maximum age limit for Deputy Director and P.S.O. is 55 yrs. and for S.S.O. 45 yrs. as on 5-9-2008. The age limit is relaxable as per Govt. Rules for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates on production of relevant certificates. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed with: "Appication For The Post Of (Name of the Post) along with the date of advertisement and the name of the newspaper. Candidates serving in States / Central Goverment, Autonomous bodies / Public Undertakings should apply through proper channel.
