Ministry of Textiles invites application for Senior Director ( Group ‘A’ Gazetted ) Post on deputation / absorption basis in National Handicrafts and Handlooms Museum in the Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi.

Senior Director Age Limit : The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of Ministry of Textiles applications.
Senior Director Pay Scale : Pay Band ( PB ) – 4 of 37400 – 67000 with Grade Pay of 8700.
Deputation / Absorption :
Officers of Central Government :
(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre / department; or
(ii) with five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Pay Band – 3 of 15600 – 39100 with Grade Pay of 7600 or equivalent in the parent cadre / department; and
Eligibility Criteria for Senior Director Post :
(i) Master degree in any discipline from a recognised university / institute;
(ii) twelve years’ experience in Administrative matters in the Central Government department / organisation.
Two years’ experience of organising museum exhibition and publicity in relation to handicrafts and handlooms.
1. Period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex – cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Organisation / Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed five years.
2. For the purpose of appointment on deputation / absorption basis, the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to 1st January, 2006 ( date from which the revised pay structure based on the Sixth Central Pay Commission recommendation has been extended ) shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay / pay scale extended based on the recommendations of the Pay Commission except where there has been merger of more than one pre – revised scale of pay into one grade with a common grade pay / pay scale, and where this benefit will extend only for the post( s ) for which that grade pay / pay scale is the normal replacement grade without any upgradation.

Ministry of Textiles applications ( in triplicate ) in the enclosed prescribed proforma ( Annexure – I ) alongwith documents mentioned above should be forwarded through proper channel to the Additional Development Commissioner for Handlooms, office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles, Room No. 57, Udyog Bhavan, New Delhi – 110011, within 12th May, 2014. 45 days from the date of publication of this circular in Employment News / Rozgar Samachar. Ministry of Textiles Applications received after the closing date or without documents mentioned above or otherwise incomplete will not be considered.
Ministry of Textiles Newdelhi Terms & Conditions :
a) Terms and conditions of deputation shall be governed / regulated according to the applicable normal terms and conditions for deputation issued by the Government of India from time to time. Officers who volunteer for the post will not be permitted to withdraw their names later on.
b) Ministry of Textiles applications ( in triplicate ) in the enclosed prescribed proforma ( Annexure – I ), in respect of eligible candidates, who can be spared for taking up the assignment within one month from the date of intimation about selection, may be forwarded by the Cadre Controlling Authority duly verified / countersigned by the Head of office or an officer authorized to sign on his behalf, alongwith the following documents :
(i) Cadre clearance in respect of the applicant.
(ii) Up – to – date clear and legible photocopies of the ACRs / APAR of the last 5 years atleast up to 2012 – 13 duly attested by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary or equivalent to the Govt. of India.
(iii)Integrity certificate signed by an officer not below the rank of Deputy Secretary to the Govt. of India.
(iv) Vigilance Clearance Certificate indicating that no disciplinary or criminal proceedings are either pending or being contemplated against the officer concerned; and
(v) A certificate indicating major / minor penalties imposed, if any, on the candidate during the last 10 years or otherwise a No Penalty certificate.
