Candidates having knowledge of Marathi will be preferred.

The qualifications and pay-scale for the post of Principal & Lecturer are as prescribed by the U.G.C. and University of Mumbai from time to time. For Principal post ten years approved teaching experience at under-graduate / post graduate level for grade and 15 years for professor grade plus Ph.D. or equivalent published work. However a person who is already working as principal in any College and whose appointment has been approved by the University as per the Qualification and eligibility conditions prescribed for the post of Principal prior to 4.42000 can also be considered eligible for post of Principal the selected candidates shall be provided with rent-free accommodation or HRA as admissible. The qualification and pay-scale for the post of Lecturer are as prescribed by the UGC & University of Mumbai from time to time. For the post of Lecturers, NET / SET shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those post-graduate teaching. However, the candidates having Ph.D. degree in concerned subject are exempted for NET / SET for PG level and UG level teaching. The candidates having M.Phil degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET / SET for UG level teaching only.
