Applications are invited for following posts to be filled at NCCS, Pune.

1. Scientist 'D': Posts : Variable,

Scale of pay: Rs.12000-375-16500 (TME Rs.30200/-)

Age limit: Below 50 years,

Qualification & Experience: The Centre is looking for various outstanding Scientists in areas of Stem Cells / Regenerative Biology, Neurobiology and Developmental Biology.

Candidates should be 1st Class M.Tech / MD / MVSc / MPharm / M.Biotech or PhD / Corresponding degrees in other disciplines with original work as evidenced by patents and / or publications.

Evidence of leadership with about 8 years experience in Research & Development and a proven excellent track record of independent research will be preferred.

Applicant should send a CV mentioning a summary of research work carried out, description of future plans and goals with two letters of reference alongwith the application.

2. Scientist 'C': Posts - Two,

Scale of pay: Rs.10000-325-15200/- (TME Rs.25340/-)

Age limit: Below 40 years,

Qualification & Experience: 1st Class M.Tech / MD / MVSc / M.Pharm / M.Biotech or PhD /Corresponding degrees in other disciplines with original work as evidenced by patents or publications.

Evidence of leadership with about 4 years experience in Research & Development.

Desirable:

1. One of the candidates will have to grow on his / her own, carryout research in Bio-informatics and Systems Biology work. In addition, he / she will be required to oversee the functioning of network system,
2. Another candidate should have experience in running MALDI-TOF and LC-MS/MS, and protein identification using peptides mass. Knowledge in Bio-informatics will be preferred. He / she will be responsible for running the Mass Spectrometry facility at NCCS.

3. Officer 'C' (Accounts): By Direct Recruitment / By Deputation

1. Direct Recruitment: Post - One,

Scale of pay: Rs.10000-325-15200/-(TME Rs.25340/-)

Age limit: Below 40 years,

Qualification & Experience: Graduate with the qualification of SAS/CA / ICWA with 5 years experience in the pay scale of Rs.8000-275-13500 or 8 years experience in the pay scale of Rs. 6500-200-10500 as Pay and Accounts Officer / Accounts Officer.

Candidates having additional qualification of MBA (Finance) or Company Secretary with experience in Computerised Accounting will be preferred.

2. By Deputation: The candidate holding post analogous to the post applied for in terms of the pay scale and status or the candidate has worked for atleast 5 years on the lower post in the pay scale of Rs.8000-275-13500 or 8 years in the scale of Rs.6500-200-10500 provided that:

The period of deputation shall ordinarily be three years which may be extended upto maximum period of five years. The total period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same organization / department shall not exceed five years.

The candidates appointed on deputation shall not have any claim for promotion during the period of deputation.

Desirable: for 3 a & b above Knowledge of application of computer / management information systems.

4. Technician 'C (l&M): One Post - (UR),

Scale of Pay: Rs.5500-175-9000/ - (TME Rs.13704/-)

Age Limit: 30 years,

Qualification & Experience: Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years experience or Amie or degree in Civil engineering with 1 year experience.

The candidate with experience in Civil maintenance of laboratory buildings, Govt, residences, Hostel & Guest House buildings, possessing Knowledge / experience of preparing civil estimates as per CPWD rules and having working knowledge of computer will be preferred.

Age relaxation will be available to SC/ST/PH candidates as per Government of India rules.

Notes:

1. Mere fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualifications and experience will not vest any right in a candidate for calling for interview. The Centre reserves the right to call for interview only those candidates who in its opinion are likely to be suitable, no any correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
