The eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in-interview for the position of Research Associates on contractual basis;
NAIP Project "Development of Biosensores and Micro-techniques for analysis of pesticide residues, aflatoxin, heavy metals and bacterial contamination in milk" Sr. Scientist, DM Division

Essential Qualifications:-
M.Sc. Degree in Dairy Microbiology/ Food Microbiology / Agriculture Microbiology/Biochemistry/General Microbiology/Life Sciences or allied disciplines with minimum two year research experience as evidenced from fellowship / associateship/ trainingship / or published papers in standard journals.
Desirable qualifications:
Ph.D in above mentioned discipline. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the fiield of biosensor, analyzing milk & milk products and food samples for microbiological quality parameters preferably familiar with food analysis for drugs, aflatoxins and hygiene indicator organisms etc.
Good knowledge of statistics/software optimization, proficiency in computer application particularly in use of MS office.
Emoluments:-
Rs.17000/- P.M + HRA (Fixed) for M.Sc. Rs.18,000/- P.M + HRA (fixed) for Ph. D. Duration of the project: Four years (2008-12)
Walk-in-lnterview: 23.9.2008
Venue: Dairy Microbiology Division, NDRI, Karnal.
Age Limit: 40 years for Men and 45 years for women
(Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per GOI / ICAR rules) The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled in on Contractual basis.
The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute as the fellowship is co-terminus with the Project/Scheme.
'Interested candidates may attend Walk-in-interview on the dates as indicated against each project / scheme alongwith original certificates and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each their certificates with passport size photograph.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-lnterview.
