Applications from eligible persons are invited for the following posts (1 post each) in the Institute and RCPD, NCERT Bangalore to be appointed in a temporary capacity but no regular basis.

2	LDC / Typist (unreserved)Scale of Pay - Rs.3050-4590	Matriculation or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the said examination by the Goverment, of India with English as one of the subjects. Knowledge of typewriting with minimum speed of 30 words per minute in English. Knowledge of computer operation is desirable.	Below 27 years
3	Storekeeper Grade 1 at RCPD (NCERT) Bangalore (unreserved) Scale of pay - Rs.4500-7000	Essential:A degree in arts or science or commerce or a diploma in business management or a diploma in engineering (Electronics / Mechanical) from a recognized university/ technical institution or B.Tech Ed degree of the Regional college of Education or equivalent. 3 years experience of procurement/ inspection maintenance/ custody and verification of stores in a well established stores organization in government semi government or industry or private organization of repute, or in case of non-Govt. having 5 years experience in procurement inspection/ maintenance/ custody and verification desirable: Certificate/ diploma in storekeeping and purchasing	Below 27 years

To be revised as per 6th pay commission recommendations. there is no age limit for NCERT employees

Mode of selection is through written examination. Application fee of Rs.200/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Principal, RIE, Mysore payable at any Nationalized Bank at Mysore should accompany the application. SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

Application neatly typed on a plain paper duly signed by the applicant with complete bio-data in capital letter indicating post applied for, address (present & permanent) date of birth, qualification accompanied by attested photocopies of marks card, with recent passport size photograph pasted on the application should reach the Section Officer, Establishment section Regional Institute of Education, Mysore-6 on or before 25.9.2008.

Those who are in service should sent their application through proper channel so as to reach by the prescribed date. Applications received after the due date and incomplete application will not be entertained. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the written test.

The vacancy position is subject to change. Mere possession of essential qualification will not bestow any right on the candidate to be called for the written test and the decision of Principal, RIEM is final in this matter.
