Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidyashram invites application for the post of Principal.

Scale of Pay for Principal Jobs : 15600 – 39100/- + Grade Pay 7,600/-.

Essential Qualification & Experience  :

Qualification for Principal :

1. Master’s Degree with 50% marks or more in aggregate in any of the subjects taught in Bhavan’s schools at plus 2 level;
2. Degree in education / teaching of a recognized Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidyashram university;

Principal Jobs Experience :

1. At least a minimum of eight years experience in a reputed secondary / Senior Secondary School / Inter / Junior College out of which at least three years experience in educational administration is an essential requirement;
2. Experience in organizing seminars, in – service courses, symposium, educational conferences, sports, cultural meets, etc., will be an added qualification;
3. Working knowledge of English and Hindi;

Age Limit for Principal Vacancies :

1. Not less than 35 years and not more than 45 years as on 1st December, 2011.
2. There is no upper age limit for internal candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Principal Post  :

1. The candidate should be an experienced and dynamic principal with interpersonal skills and vision to build an excellent school.
2. He / She should be a computer savvy with good leadership qualities to lead and motivate the team.
