Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan - KVS

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, henceforth mentioned as KVS, is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The KVS intends to fill up the SC & ST backlog vacancies of Teaching Posts, Misc. Teaching Posts & Non - teaching Posts for its Offices / schools spread all over India.Applications are invited in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) from the Indian Nationals for filling up the SC & ST backlog vacancies in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan for the year - 2007 - 08 and 2008 - 09.

Important:

Candidates to Ensure their Eligibility for the Examination:

1. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility condition (s).
2. Mere issue of Admit Card to the candidate will not imply that his / her candidature has been finally cleared by the KVS.
3. The KVS takes up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidates have qualified for interview / personality Test.

Application Form:

1. Candidates must apply in the Common Application form devised by the KVS for this examination and available with the advertisement inviting applications or may be downloaded from the KVS website: www.kvsangathan.nic.in.
2. Candidates are advised to read carefully the "guidelines for filling up the Application Form" given with this notice.

Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 19th October, 2009.

1. Candidates must send application by ordinary post since applications sent by Regd. Post / Speed Post / Courier are not accepted at Post Box address. The KVS will not be responsible for applications sent at any other address (including KVS office) or sent by hand or otherwise. Candidates are advised to send the application well in advance to avoid any postal delay.
2. However, in respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote localities specified in this notice the last date for receipt of application by post shall be 26th October, 2009.

Facilitation Counter For Guidance of Candidates:

In case of any guidance / information / clarification regarding their application, candidature etc. candidates can contact Assistant Commissioner (Admn.) Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (Hqrs.) New Delhi 110 602 over Telephone No 26569515 or 26521579 or in person on working days between 16.00 hrs and 17.00 hrs.

Mobile Phones Banned:

1. Mobile phones, pagers or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examination.
2. Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items including mobile phones/pagers to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for safekeeping can not be assured.
3. No Fee Will Be Charged Since The Recruitment Is For Sc / St Backlog Vacancies.

Essential Qualifications:

Two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional Institute of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject or Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects.
