Inviting applications for the post of Primary Teachers for Special Recruitment Drive to fill up the backlog reserved vacancies for SCs and STs in the KVS for the year 2007-08.

The revised qualifications for the post of Primary Teacher are as under:

1. Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent, and
2. Diploma or Certificate in basic teachers training of duration of not less than two years; or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.) OR B.Ed or equivalent.
3. Competence to teach through Hindi and English medium

Desirable:

Knowledge of Computer Application

The last date of receipt of applications for all categories (Unreserved & Reserved) is-extended to 30 April, 2008. The written examination will now be held on 22 June, 2008 instead of 14 May, 2008.
