Wanted

1. Applications are invited for the following posts: -

(a) Master-Physics (01 post)

(b) Assistant Masters

• Maths

• English
• Computer Science (01 post for each subject)

(c) Laboratory Assistant – Physics (Contractual)

(d) Lower Division Clerk (Contractual).

Eligibility Pay Scale (in Rs.)

Essential Qualification for Master: (a) -

• Post Graduate in Physics
• B. Ed from recognised university or three years experience of teaching Intermediate or higher classes. 6500 – 200 - 10500

Essential Qualification for Assistant Masters – Maths, Chemistry, Biology & English: (b) (i) to (iv) - Graduate in concerned subject with B Ed from a recognised university. 5500-175-9000

Essential Qualification for Assistant Master – Computer Science: (b) (v) -MCA/BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science) preferably with B.Ed from a recognised university. 5500-175-9000

Desirable: For (a) & (b)

• PG in concerned subject with teaching experience in an English medium School.
• Aptitude in sports, games and extra curricular activities will be given due weightage.
• Candidates should be computer savvy.

Essential Qualification for Laboratory Assistant (c) – Intermediate with Science. Preference will be given to those having working experience of similar post. 8,000.00 (Consolidated)

Essential Qualification for Lower Division Clerk.

• Matriculation
• Typing speed 40 wpm
• Knowledge of Shorthand and ability to correspond independently in English & Hindi will be considered as additional qualification.
• Working knowledge in office automation software. Candidates knowing Hindi Typing in addition to above qualification will be given preference. 6,000.00 (Consolidated)

2. Age - For (a), (b) & (c) Between 21 – 35 years and for (d) Between 18 – 50 years as on 01 Apr 2008.

3. Allowances (Not applicable for contractual vacancy)

DA at Central Govt. rates, subsidised electricity charges (limited units), accommodation as available/HRA, subsidised education for two children, free food for self except during vacation (for (a), (b)) & (c)), LTC, Gratuity etc. as per Sainik Schools Society Rules & Regulations.

4. Other conditions

• In consonance with Sainik Schools Society Rules & Regulations.
• Candidates (teachers & Lab Assistant) must be able to teach through English medium.
• Job is transferable with All India liability.
• Selected candidates should be ready to take responsibilities usual to a residential school.

5. 6. Application must reach on or before 29 Mar 2008. Only short-listed candidates will be called for written test-cum-interview. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview and joining the post as per rule. Principal reserves the right to cancel the vacancy due to administrative/policy reasons.
