1. Sainik School, Nalanda, invites applications for the posts of

• One Master (PGT) in Chemistry (On regular basis)
• One Master (PGT) in Computer Science (On contractual basis)
• One Assistant Master (TGT) in English (On regular basis)
• One Assistant Master (TGT) in General Science (PCM) (On regular basis)
• One Assistant Master (TGT) Social Science (Geography)(On regular basis)
• One Assistant Master (TGT) Social Science (History) (On regular basis)
• One Assistant Master (TGT) in Sanskrit (On regular basis)
• Two Assistant Masters (TGTs) in Mathematics (On regular basis)
• One Lab Assistant (Biology) (On contractual basis)
• One Lab Assistant (Chemistry) (On contractual basis)
• One Lab Assistant (Physics) (On contractual basis)

Eligibility:

• For post (a) Post Graduate in concerned subject with B.Ed in the concerned subject from a recognised University.
• For post (b) MCA / M.Sc (Computer Science) preferably with B.Ed from a recognized university.
• For posts (c) to (h) Graduate in concerned subjects with B.Ed in the concerned subject from a recognised university
• For posts (j) to (I), Intermediate Science or equivalent in the subject.

Desirable:

• Experience and Higher Qualification will be preferred,
• Proficiency in spoken English is a must.

Candidates with teaching experience in English Medium Schools / Colleges, with proficiency in games / sports, co-curricular activities, NCC at School / College level and knowledge of computer science will be given preference.

Age: Should be between 21-35 years as on 01 Jul 08.

Salary and Perks:

• For post (a) Rs. 13,848/-per month in the pay scale of Rs. 6500-200-10500.
• For post (b) Consolidated pay of Rs. 13,748/- (Approx) per month.
• For posts (c) to (h) Rs.11,733/-in the pay scale of Rs. 5500-175-9000.
• For posts (j) to (I) Consolidated pay of Rs. 8,000/- per month.

Pay scales are shortly to be revised to higher level as per the recommendations of VI Pay Commission.

Free food during session and rent free accommodation for all the above posts. GPF / CPF, Gratuity, LTC, Medical Allowance, Pension as per New Pension Scheme, Subsidised Education for two children as admissible as per Sainik Schools Society Rules and Regulations for the regular posts only mentioned above.

Reservation for physically disabled persons and SC / ST category candidates will be as per rules of Central Govt and Sainik School Society.

In case of non availability of suitable candidates in these categories, the unfilled vacancies will be filled from other categories. Posts mentioned at (a) and (c) to (h) are All India transferable.

2. The School will not be responsible for postal delay. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
