Group-II (Sciences): Associate Professors:

• (SCs): Meteorology & Oceanography-2, Statistics-1.
• (STs): Applied Mathematics-1, Botany-1, Inorganic & Analytical Chemistry-1, Mathematics (Etcheria)-1, Physics-1, Statistlcs-1.

Assistant Professor:

• (ST): Geo-Physics-1.

Group-III (Engineering): Associate Professors:

• (SC): Engineering Mathematics-1
• (STs): Chemical Engineering-1, Electrical Engineering-1, Engineering Physics-1.

The prescribed application form together with qualifications, scales of pay attached to the post and other conditions etc., can be had from Sri R.R Babji Rao, Deputy Registrar (Academic), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam-530 003, by sending a requisition accompanied by a Demand Draft for Rs.50/- drawn in favour of 'the Registrar, Andhra University' payable at Visakhapatnam towards the cost and process of application either in person or through post by enclosing a self addressed envelop (20 x 30 cms) stamped worth Rs. 25/-.

Separate application is to be submitted for each post

The last date for receipt of the duly filled in application is 01-03-2008

The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any of the post(s) without giving any reason whatsoever.

Note: The University Pension Scheme is not applicable to the appointees. They will be governed by the Contributory Pension Scheme of A.U. Other service conditions shall be the same as applicable to the University teachers.
