Banaras Hindu University invites applications for the following positions:

A. Junior Research Fellow (01) - Rs. 12, 000 + 15% HRA, and

B. Senior Research Fellow (01) - Rs. 14, 000 + 15% HRA fixed in a DBT, New Delhi sponsored project entitled "Identification of Leishmanial antigens modulating NRAMP1 iron efflux pump function" sanctioned for a period of 3 years.

For JRF position, the candidate should have a consistent good academic record with M.Sc. in Biochenistry / Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Zoology or related subjects with 55% marks; should have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent tests.

For SRF position, the candidates should have 2 years of post M.Sc. research experience in revalant fields with M.Sc. in above subjects with 55% marks. For SRF position published papers in standard refereed journals will be added advantage.

The upper age limits are 28, 32 years for JRF Jobs and SRF Jobs respectively. A relaxation of 5 years upper age limit will be given to SC / ST / Physically Handicapped / Female candidates.
