Applications from the eligible candidates are invited on plain paper along with complete bio-data for one post of Reader/Deputy Director in the pay scale of Rs. 12,000-18,300 (un-revised) in the Population Research Centre, H.P. University, Shimla.

Qualifications for Himachal Pradesh University Jobs:

1. At least high second class Master's degree in Demography / Statistics / Economics / Sociology / Psychology / Anthropology / Mathematics / Geography.
2. Ph.D. degree or published work of equivalent standard (desirable).
3. Persons with P.G. degree in subjects other than Demography should have studied / training in Demography / Population Studies.
4. At least 10 years teaching / research experience in the field of demography / Population Studies or conducting socio-economic survey.
