Qualifications & Experience for the above post(s) are as under:
Post No.1 –Librarian:-
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
Master’s Degree in Library Science/information Science/documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC Seven Point scale and consistently good academic record;
At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or eighteen years’ experience as a College Librarian;
Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work;
Desirable:-
- M.Phil/Ph.D. degree in library science/information science/documentation/archives and manuscript-keeping.
Post No.2-Coordinator (Evaluation):-
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale;
At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer (Senior Scale)/Lecturer with eight years in Reader’s grade along with experience in educational administration OR Comparable experience in research establishments and/or other institutions of higher education;
Proven ability and experience in administration/management of an academic/research institution with a depth of understanding of intellectual processes of the University and its development;
Desirable:-
Familiarity with establishment matters, particularly those relating to faculty and staff including recruitment and students affairs;
Qualifications and experience in modern management methods;
Adequate experience in Semester System and ability to take organizational charge of meetings of the University.
Post No.3 –Chief Security Officer:-
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
Commissioned Officer of Army/Navy/Air force or Dy. Superintendent of Police or Assistant Commissioner of Police/Security force with 6 years relevant experience OR
A Graduate with 15 years relevant experience including at least 6 years experience in the supervisory capacity in a big security organization.
- Should have a valid driving license (Motor Car and Motor Cycle).
- Should be of good physique and sound health.
Should be conversant with security rules and procedures to deal with police and the public.
Post No.4 –Documentation Officer (CEAS/SIS):-
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
Desirable:-
- Ph.D. in Chinese Studies;
- Candidate should demonstrate ability to assist in the language teaching programme of the Centre.
Post No 5. -System Analyst (E-governance Cell):-
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
Post No.6 -System Analyst (USIC):-
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
- Master’s degree in Physical/Life/ Computer Sciences;
Experience:-
The candidate should have at least 5 years experience in a laboratory/industry of working with scientific analytical equipments such as XRD, FTIR etc.
The candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable:-
Knowledge of computer languages and exposure to software such as Lab view, Mat Lab Maple etc shall be desirable.
Post No.7 System Analyst (Finance Branch):-
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
- MCA/B.Tech. /B.E. (Computers) with minimum 55% marks;
- Commerce background;
- At least 03 years Experience in related field;
- Knowledge of ERP & Accounting Software.
Desirable:-
Knowledge and skills in applications programming and systems analysis and related programming support functions.
Post No.8-Senior Technical Assistant (CPS)
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
Master’s degree in Social Sciences/Statistics; Applicants should be able to undertake training and processing of Social Science data using statistical packages such as SPSS and STATA.
Post No.9-Senior Technical Assistant (CSRD)
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
- M.A. in Geography with at least 55% marks;
- Diploma in Computer Cartography from a recognized Institute/University;
Desirable:-
Experience in keeping, cataloguing maps and topographical sheets.
Post No.10 – Technical Assistant (CIS):-
Minimum Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
Diploma or Certificate course in Electronics or Computer Science with minimum 60% marks;
Minimum 7 years of work experience as laboratory Assistant or Junior Technical Assistant or equivalent. Out of which, minimum 5 years of experience should be related to internet services with specific to network troubleshooting and managing the ports etc.
Desirable Qualification:-
Minimum 7 years of work experience as laboratory Assistant or Junior Technical Assistant or equivalent. Out of which, minimum 5 years of experience should be related to internet services with specific to network troubleshooting and managing the ports etc.
Knowledge of Installing Operating Systems such as Window XP/Window 2000/2003 Red hat/Suse Linux, UTP Cable crimping and use of MS word, MS Excel, Power Point for day to day work.
Post No.11-Security Inspector
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- A University degree.
Experience of working in a Supervisory capacity in a Security Department in University/Govt. Department. Preference will be given to those who have served in the Army/Police as a JCO or in equivalent post.
- Proficiency in Computer Operations.
Post No.12- Mason
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
ITI Trade Certificate with 2 years experience in the Trade OR 5 years experience in the Trade.
Post No.13- Junior Assistant-cum-Typist
Essential Qualifications & Experience:-
Post No.14- Library Attendant
Essential Qualifications:-
Matriculation with basic knowledge of computer in Library Services.
