Mother Teresa Women’s University Kodaikanal

Application along with bio – data (8 copies) is invited from suitable Women Candidates for the post of Registrar for Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal, and Tamil Nadu.

Last date of issue / receipt of application is 27.12.2006.

Qualification:

1. The holder of the Post of Registrar shall be an academician not lower in rank than that of a University Professor.

2. A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.

3. At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer (Sr. Scale) Lecturer with 8 years in Reader’s grade along with experience in educational administration (OR) Comparable experience in research establishment and / or other institutions of higher education (OR) 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Age: The age of superannuation for the post of Registrar is 58.

Tenure: The term of appointment shall be for a period of 3 years at a time, eligible for reappointment for another term of 3 years.

Scale of Pay:Rs. 16400 – 450 – 20900 – 500 – 22400 plus admissible under the rules of the University.

Note:

1.The University reserves its right to shortlist the candidates.
2. The University also reserves the right to shortlist to fill up or not to fill up the post.

3. Candidates already in service should send their applications through proper channel or they should produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer at the time of interview, if called.
4. Knowledge of Tamil is essential.
5. Qualification relaxable in exceptional cases.

Candidates may apply to The Registrar of the University (By designation only) for application form along with a State Bank D.D. for Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) towards the fee drawn in favour of THE Registrar, Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal – 624 – 102, payable along with a self – addressed envelop (size 25 cm x 12 cm) stamped to the value of Rs. 10 – candidates called for the interview will not be paid any TA/DA.
