Applications are invited from Women Candidates only for Centre for Women's Studies during XI Plan period funded by UGC for the posts of Lecturer (1) and Research Assistant (1) only for the period up to March 2012 (i.e) XI Plan Period only) and Physical Directress (1) for University.

Lecturer (1) and Research Assistant (1):

Qualifications: Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C.D.E & F at the Master's Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University, M.Phil / Ph.D. are desirable.

Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar tests accredited by the UGC.

Age - should have completed 25 years but not 35 years.

Physical Directress: 1

Qualification:

1. Ph.D. in physical education
2. Experience of at least ten years as University Deputy or fifteen years as University Assistant DPEs / College DPEs (selection grade)
3. Participation in at least two national /international seminars/conferences,
4. Consistently good appraisal reports,
5. Evidence of organizing competitions and conducting coaching camps of at least two weeks' duration,
6. Evidence of having produced good performance teams/athletes for competitions like state/national/inter-university/combined university etc,

Age: Should have completed 35 years but not 50 years Relaxable if otherwise well qualified.

3. Candidates already in service should send their application through proper channel or they should produce "No Objection Certificates" from the employer at the time of interview if called.
4. Knowledge of Tamil is essential.

Candidates may apply to The Registrar of the University (by designation only) for application form along with a State Bank D.D for Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) towards the fee drawn in favour of The Registrar, Mother Teresa Women's University, payable at Kodaikanal along with self addressed envelope (size 25cm x 12 cm) stamped to the value of Rs.10/- For SC/ST candidates, the application form will be issued at free of cost on production of an attested Xerox Copy of the Permanent Community Certificate.
