TNMMU invites applications for the following posts.

1. Controller of Examinations - One (General).

Educational Qualifications: Shall be an academician in the field of Medical Science not lower in rank than that of Professor of an Affiliated Medical College.

2. Professor & HOD of Curriculum Development - One (General).

Educational Qualifications: Must possess MBBS with PG degree in the concerned speciality Must have had not less than four years experience as Reader / Associate Professor in concerned speciality in a recognized Medical College.

Desirable: Minimum of four research publications indexed in Index Medicine/National Journal and one Research Publication in International Journal.

3. Academic Officer - One (General).

Educational Qualifications:

Shall be an academician in the field of Medical Science not lower in rank than that of a Professor with M.D., or M.S., with 5 years of teaching experience.
Shall possess experience in organizing meetings.

Must not be less than 40 years of age and must not have completed 50 years of age as on the 1st July of the year in which the recruitment is made. Emoluments: Selected candidates are entitled for the emoluments in the scale of pay mentioned.

Note:

Retired Deans / Principals of Medical Colleges may also apply for the post of academic officer & HOD of Curriculum Development on a consolidated pay of Rs.25,000/-.
Candidate with higher academic qualifications and rich experience will be given preference.
Professors working in the Government Medical Colleges may also apply for the above said posts on deputation through proper channel.

The TNMMU application should be on a plain paper neatly typed and shall contain Name, Address for communication, Date of Birth, Age, Qualifications, experience in teaching / research (Category wise), etc., as the case may be. The candidates who are in State/Central Government service should send their applications through proper channel. However, an advance copy may be sent to the Registrar University.

The applications may be sent in a sealed cover addressed to the address by Registered Post / Speed Post. The cover should be superscribed as "TNMMU Application for the post of _____________________".
