Applications are invited from candidates not lower in rank than that of a University Professor for the Post of "Registrar" on Tenure basis for a period of three years.

Age limit: The applicant for the post of the Registrar should not be below 45 years of age and should not have completed 55 years of age in the case of a non-academician and 57 years of age in the case of an academician as on the date of this notification inviting applications.

Scale of Pay: Rs.16400-450-20900 - 500 - 22400.

Prescribed application form along with details can be obtained from the Office of the Registrar, Tamil Nadu Open University, Directorate of Technical Education Campus, Guindy, Chennai - 600 025 in person by submitting a DD for Rs.200/-or by sending a requisition accompanied by a DD for Rs.250/-drawn in favour of Tamil Nadu Open University payable at Chennai.

Filled in application along with all enclosures should reach the University on or before 15-12-2008 superscribing the envelope "Application for the Post of Registrar".

Note: The University reserves the right to shortlist the candidates and fill or not fill up the post without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
