Qualifications:

1. Deputy Registrar

By Direct Recruitment:

1. A Master's degree with atleast 55% of Marks / B grade of the UGC seven point scale,
2. A relaxation of 5% of Marks shall be given to SC/ST & physically challenged,
3. Five years experience in education administration and / or other institutions of higher Education,
4. Should have studied Tamil as Part-1 at UG level / passed the Language Test conducted by TNPSC.
5. Should not have completed 45 years.

Maximum age limit 50 years in the case of SC / ST and 55 years in the case of Physically Challenged.

2. Assistant Registrar

By Direct Recruitment:

1. A Master's degree with atleast 55% of Marks / B grade of the UGC seven point scale
2. 3 years of Academic / 5 years of Administrative Experience,
3. Should have studied Tamil as Part-I at UG level / passed the Language Test conducted by TNPSC.
4. Should not have completed 45 years.

Maximum age limit 50 years in the case of SC / ST and 55 years in the case of Physically Challenged.

3. Personal Assistant to Vice - Chancellor

By Direct Recruitment:

1. Any Master's degree (55% or B grade) of the UGC seven point scale.
2. A Computer related PG Diploma from a recognized institution,
3. Shorthand - Tamil and English - Higher Grade
4. Administrative experience for not less than five years,
5. Should have studied Tamil as Part-1 at UG level / passed the Language Test conducted by TNPSC.
6. Should not have completed 45 years Maximum age limit 50 years in the case of SC / ST and 55 years in the case of Physically Challenged
7. Desirable: Experience of working in Computer based technologies.

4. Superintendent:

By Direct Recruitment or by promotion or by deputation:

1. Any Graduate
2. A pass in Account test for subordinate officer, part-I.
3. Typewriting Higher grade in English and Tamil
4. Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized institution,
5. Desirable: Administrative experience for not less than five years in a recognized institution.

5. Assistant Cum Computer Operator

Bv Direct Recruitment or by transfer:

1. Any degree (Degree in B.Sc. Computer Science / B.C.A desirable)
2. Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized institution,
3. Desirable Experience: Experience of working in Computer based technologies.

6. Personal Clerk to Vice-Chancellor

By Direct Recruitment:

1. Any Degree
2. English and Tamil - Higher Grade Typewriting
3. One year Certificate / Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized institution.

7. Lab Technician

By Direct Recruitment:

1. B.E, (Computer Science / Electronics) / M.C.A. / M.Sc. Computer Science with First Class:
2. Experience as Programmer for not less than two years,
3. Knowledge in Visual Basic, Oracle & Web Tech. with 2 years. Experience.

The posts mentioned above may also be filled up on deputation basis (without any extra allowance).

The persons so deputed will be reverted back to their organization well before the date of attaining superannuation.

The terms and conditions of deputation are as per Tamil Nadu Government rules.

Those appointed by direct recruitment are eligible only for contributory provident fund scheme and not eligible for pension.

The last date for the submission of the application form is 06.02.2009. No application fee shall be collected from the SC / ST and physically disabled candidates on production of xerox copy of the Community Certificate / Physical Disability Certificate from the competent authority, as the case may be Completed applications should be addressed to following

Note:

1. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill the post.
2. The University reserves the right to shortlist the candidates.
3. Application should be made only in the format prescribed by the University in Eight copies.
4. Separate applications should be submitted for each post.
5. Applications received after the last date will be summarily rejected.
6. Enquiries on the above subject will not be entertained.
7. Since the selection of candidates is based purely on merit attempts to canvass or bring influence on the authorities to show favour during selection will be deemed as disqualification and the application of such candidates will be rejected.
